Data and sources
We process data you provide when accepting an invitation, managing your account, completing assessments, submitting opportunities or expressing interest: professional identity, email, organisation, preferences, answers and documents. We record legal acceptances, security activity and document access. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable text. Reference profiles identify their documentary sources.
Purposes and legal bases
We manage requested functions and the professional relationship on the basis of the access agreement and requested pre-contractual steps. Enquiries and requests are handled under the basis applicable to their purpose. We protect the platform and retain evidence for legitimate interests and legal obligations. Automated email is limited to access recovery; no marketing campaigns are sent. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal effects: assessments provide guidance and opportunities are reviewed by people.
Visibility and recipients
Catalogue lists are public; full profiles require a verified account. Documents remain private and subject to permissions, antivirus checks and, where applicable, confidentiality agreements. Investor profiles and requests are not published. WINFDI coordinates introductions. We do not sell data. Necessary hosting, email, maintenance and security providers may have access under contractual duties, as may authorities when legally required. The current deployment uses IONOS hosting and email.
External services and transfers
External editorial images may load from the image provider named in the credits, which receives the technical data needed to serve them. Links to Drive and official websites do not send your account content to those sites; opening them is subject to their own policies. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another valid safeguard must apply before transfer.
Retention
Account and application data is retained during the relationship and while necessary for requested purposes. Closed enquiries are reviewed for deletion, using twelve months after the last interaction as a reference unless an active relationship, claim or legal duty requires otherwise. Sessions expire after seven days, invitations after seven days and recovery links after thirty minutes. Evidence of acceptance, security and professional relationships is retained only for periods necessary for legal duties and liabilities; it may be restricted rather than immediately deleted.
Rights and complaints
You may request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction and, where applicable, portability, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. Write to info@miguelmartin.global or use the account closure and export functions. We may request the minimum information needed to verify identity. Responses are normally provided within one month, subject to lawful extensions. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency: https://www.aepd.es.
Professional users and security
The platform is intended for professionals with capacity to act for themselves or their organisation, not children. Access controls, encryption in transit and audit trails are applied. No system guarantees absolute security. Do not provide special-category data or third-party documents without authority. Policy updates will display their date and version.
